"That's good, now I don't feel so weird." Robin mumbles, smiling a bit. She tosses her empty cup into a nearby trashcan. His question surprises her. She looks at him for a moment before answering. "If you want to, we can stay here all day. There's nothing better to do." She ends up saying casually, not quite sure if she's reading him right.

"Heh, just thirty more minutes would be alright," Alucard says, also throwing his cup away. "I'm in no hurry to go back yet." It was nice here, as well quiet and cool. And he didn't have Radu following him around. His brother didn't even know where he was right now. Alucard knew he was just concerned and worried, but he needn't be. He'd reassured Radu many times now that he had no intentions of going off somewhere and not coming back for a prolonged period, like he used to.
Thinking of something to say, Alucard was about ready to speak when his cell went off. He pulled his phone out his pocket and checked the number. Sure enough, it was Radu. "Excuse me for a second," he murmured politely, and answered. "..Yes? Calm down, I'm--no. I'm at the coffee place down the street. No, I'm with Robin. Okay. Bye." Alucard sighed, and slipped his phone back into his pocket. He rolled his eyes. "Siblings. I'm sorry about that." |

"Alright." Robin says, content with just about anything. She watches him curiously while he talks to someone on the phone. "You have a sibling? That's nice, I've always wanted out. But not one like that." Behind her two little boys are arguing while they're mother tries to appease them. Robin points to indicate who she's talking about.

Alucard looks in the direction Robin is pointing in and chuckles when he sees the sqaubbling little boys. "Haha, yeah. I have a younger brother, Radu." He almost slipped up there, wanting to say he had two older brothers but that was from his other life and wasn't relevant right now. "He's helping me..cope with things," Alucard continued. "Tries to make it easier. I think its working." |

Robin smiles a little. "It must be nice that he loves you so much." For a brief moment she feels a bit out of the loop, never having had a brother. The second passes and the feeling disappears and she only feels a bit disoriented. "Do you just have one?"

"So you're the middle child." Robin observes. "That's cool." She stretches out her arms behind her chair. For once she isn't feeling sick.

"Three years." Robin answers promptly, glad that Alucard had done something to save the conversation. "How about you? Have you been at Havens long?"

//OOC: Hm. I can't remember when I first started RPing Alucard. It was either October or November last year. Oh well, I'll just go with October and say he was there for 8 months.//
"Just eight months," he answers. "Not long compared to your three years here, but it felt like it was longer than that." Alucard had been there for the entire school year pretty much, except for September being the only month he hadn't been there.

"Wow, really? Then you're kind of new at this. My first year was awful, I don't think I could have handled what you guys went through." She laughs a bit, remembering what it had been like spending every other day in the nurses office and coming up with different ways to fake her power.

"It's seems like that's life for special people." Robin says flatly. "Kind of makes you hate all the people who have always wanted to be 'heroes', hm?" Secretly she had always wanted to be a hero, especially back when she had been hospitalized. Even when she had entered Castle she'd though of herself as a type of Ironman or Batman. She laughs at herself. Being a hero hurts, silly. Can't you tell from this guy?

Alucard sighs deeply. "Yeah I guess so," he says. Each time there had been an unnecessary sacrifice. Lives that could have been spared, deaths that could have been prevented. "Hopefully, all of that is over with," Alucard adds. |
