Kerri nodded, impressed with his powers. Her own powers couldn't do much, they were only helpful in the defense category. "mine are invisibility and forcefields." she wanted to know more but sheer's grimace stops her. She had to think about what class she was currently skipping. "I'm skipping science, you?"

"Science? I hate that class." In truth, he loves the subject but every part of his mind rejects that horrible teacher who teaches the class. "In my case it's Calc. I wanted a more advanced class but apparently they won't have it until next year so I'm stuck." He'd taken Calc. 1 last year, and his current Calc. 2 class is nothing but repeats. And the teacher wonders why he knows it all... "Do you take any art classes?" He asks suddenly, staring at a spot on the wall.

"I hate math...." Kerri hated the numbers and letters all mixed up. She was a visual person and loved art, but she shook her head disappointedly in answer of his questions. "I don't take any classes but I love drawing...you? Maybe I should sign up, are there any classes available at castle that you know of?" she replied, eager for information.

"Most people do." Sheer shrugs in response to her first comment on math. It didn't offend him or anything, it actually makes him kind of happy to like things other people don't. "I don't take any official classes, but the art teacher is almost always in her room and I hang out there. If you want I'm sure she'd give you free lessons and stuff."

"Really? I'll go check it out sometime." she said eagerly, "Do you draw?" She was curious about Sheer. He was an intelligent guy, but also a rebel. Is it possible he could also be artistic? Kerri slowly got more and more impressed with this guy. She also wondered if he had any friends, or if he was a loner, like herself. She didn't want to offend him by asking, so she kept to herself.

Sheer thinks it over, looking intently at the ground. "I don't draw so much, I'm better at painting. But I suck at art anyways so it doesn't matter." He laughs dryly. "Whadabout you? You sounded so enthusiastic when I mentioned it."

"I draw...sometimes...well a lot actually. I have tons of free time, and i usually spend it drawing." She said somewhat sheepishly. "Could i see one of your paintings one day?" Sheer seemed to have more layers to himself than expected, he was interesting. Shooting a quick look at her watch, she saw that the halls were going to be filled with rushing students in about 10 minutes.

Sheer tilts his head slightly and looks at the Kerri-girl. "Really? I like it when girl have talents." He frowns quickly, realizing that he hadn't said exactly what he meant to say. "Oh.. I guess I can show you some. But you'll have to come to my room. I'm not carrying anything down here and then back up again just so you can look at it."

Kerri turned towards Sheer, meeting his eyes with a smile. "Thanks, but why don't we go now? I have free time..." she was intrigued by his ability to paint, she wanted to see his style in painting, "It's ok if you're actually planning to go to class, i understand"

Sheer makes a horrified face. "Planning to go to class? Who'd you think I am?" In less than a second his image blurs slightly and then he's standing up in front of the ledge. "Let's go then. I'm doing this 'cause you asked, so don't be a slow-poke." (He's getting more and more of an accent as I keep posting with him lol)

(Hahaha, kerri gets more.....not so shy ) Kerri ran after Sheer as fast as she could, but she didn't lose her breath, she had a lot of stamina, "Slow-poke? But you have super speed" She said, scowling to the ground. "So unfair...." Despite her tone, she was smiling, having fun.

(lol)
Sheer turns around to look at her but still walks backwards, keeping it to normal speed. "Wow, you're a complainer." He jokes, poking her in the stomach, though not hard enough to hurt her. "It's not to far. And I'm not the kind of guy who just leaves girls behind when he's already promised them something." He shrugs and turns around to walk foreword again.

Her hands rushed to her stomach, covering the spot where Sheer poked her. She still felt his touch linger in the same spot. "Whatever" she said stubbornly, "Let's go" She trailed behind him, anticipating his paintings. She would have to show him her sketchbook sometime in return.

Laughing silently Sheer heads up to his room at snails pace. He thinks back and wonders if he'd ever shown anyone his room. No, not really. His room-mate had been a quiet person who didn't have friends come over and he preferred actually going places instead of hanging out in a room. Resigning himself to facing her opinion, he opens the door for her and waits for her to walk in first. His first year he had found some crimson paint and painted the walls the dark red color and after his last room-mate left he's painted one of the walls black. The color hardly matters, though, because he has so many posters on the wall. Most of them are band posters of bands like My Chemical Romance and Bullet for my Valentine and there is a giant blue Hey Monday poster that kind of sticks out because of the color. There is a poster of Jack Skellington and the headless horseman from Sleepy Hollow. Most of his paintings are scattered around his bed on the floor or stacked on chairs. Since he prefers to sit on the floor when he paints an unfinished one is propped up next to his bead. The inside of his door is covered with unfinished string bracelets that he'd taped to the wood. "The best one's here." He tells her, pulling it out from behind his bed. He'd long ago gotten rid of the bed-frame and the other bed because he needed more room. The painting is almost half his height and wider than it is tall and depicts a bird falling towards the ocean with it's wings flung out. "It took me a week to just do the ocean."

Kerri walked in casually, not expecting the highly personalized room she found inside. She took a moment to take in the red and black walls, the posters, and the paintings, which were amazing. When Sheer pulled out his painting, she gasped, speechless. The painting in front of her, was incredibly detailed, and beautiful. It showed a bird falling towards the ocean. She squatted down to get a better view. Her favorite part was the ocean. The rolling waves, the deep blue color, it was just magnificent. His hard work was evident. She then took a moment to look at the bird, which had outstretched wings. She sat down criss-cross-applesauce on the cold wooden floor. The noble bird was beautiful, she could see the texture of the bird's feathers. She slowly and as gently as possible put her hand on the painting, where the bird flew, expecting to feel the softness of feathers. Her hands found the texture of dried paint on a thick canvas. Looking up at him in awe, she said "It's amazing.....you are truly talented Sheer."
