Angelica pranced down the hall, keeping open eyes for her brother, occasionally twirling in the process. Her black seemed to dance with her as she skipped. This wasn't her first day in Castle, and she had found her way quite well, but she had yet to find her brother. She kept in mind that it was a pretty big school, and she never lost an ounce of hope. When she had Sheer in her mind, she could accomplish anything. Also, they were years apart so their classes wouldn't be too close to each other. In the process of her search, she found many isolated places for her to dance such as the roof, the moor, or even the garden. Suddenly, seeing a flash of white hair to her left, she saw her brother. She was petrified with joy and anxiety, and her big brown eyes widened. She was excited to see him, of course, but worried about what he would think of her following him here. She walked slowly towards him, her heart beating like a hummingbird's wings. She was always a lot shorter than him, and he was a lot taller than she remembered. Then, she was right behind him. She tugged on the sleeve of his shirt and asked, "Sheer.....Guess who?".

Sheer takes off the black jacket that's a required part of the school uniform and lets it hang loosely over her arm so he's just wearing the black pants and a white collar shirt. It's more formal than he would like but after four years of this he's pretty much used to it. Actually, he's used to everything, every day is starting to seem like more of the same. Oh well, there's nothing he can do about it, honors anatomy is next. Suddenly he feels something catch on his shirt. "Huh? Who?" He's never been one for games, so he doesn't bother guessing, he just stares at the girl who he hasn't seen for four years.
"Angel?" He blinks rapidly, his brain tries to take it three steps at a time and figure out what happened. His little sister... at Castle? Now? His little sister in the same place as Flock and that poison and all the other people... "Oh, no, what are you doing here?" Very gently, he puts one hand on her shoulder. He'll just have to protect her, then. "Doesn't matter, do you know how much I missed you?" Grinning a little, he stoops down to hug her.

A smile let up her face as she heard her name carassed by her brother's voice. She returned his hug, his touch tingling like electricity as she was closing her eyes to capture the moment in her brain. Four years had never felt so long. As she finally released him and opened her eyes, she found tears had drowned them. A painful lump formed in her throat, making it hard to talk. "I missed you too...." Her own voice surprised her. It sounded like a little baby's voice. She wiped her tears with the back of her hand and smiled up to Sheer. "I guess I owe you an explanation" She giggled at his bewilderment when he saw her. "Do you remember when I was little and I used to talk to all the animals that came our way? Turns out, I can actually understand them. They can understand me too. So when I found out that you went to castle, a gifted school, I was..... So happy that I would be able to see you again, and here I am!" She stared at her brother, comparing him to the picture she had in her mind. She then remembered that she kept a picture of the two of them in her silver heart locket that dangled around her neck. She took the hook off of the little loop of the chain and took it off. She struggled to get the locket open, as she always did. When it opened with a click, she grinned at the picture in side. She took a step next to him so the siblings could look at it together and reminisce in the past. "It's been so long......"

Sheer stands upright and laughs. "Heck yeah, you owe me an explanation." Despite his misgivings, he listens quietly to her story. It makes sense, really, because he does remember her doing things like that all the time. That kind of gift fits her pretty well, talking to animals, and as long as it's nothing like his own power then it's fine. "Wow, my own little sister's got a super power. That's pretty impressive, I'm proud of you."
He pauses, suddenly realizing that 'so I came to see you' probably means that Angel had come on her own. He'd thought that their parents would take better care of her and prevent her from doing impulsive things like that. Still, he's glad to see her despite how risky it was for her to get here. "Hey, I missed you, kid. You know? You're gonna have to tell me all about the last few years since I missed most of 'em. Mom and Dad were good to you, right?" He smiles, genuinely happy that she's back. If he can just manage to keep her safe from all the crazies here then it looks like everything might get a lot better.

Angel's smile wavered upon being reminded about mom and dad. "They're worried about you...". Their mom was struck with grief when Sheer left, and she almost lost hope. She spent months locked up in her room for days at a time, only leaving to get food when no one else was home. She gradually recovered, but she didn't talk to Angel. Her mom feared of being reminded of her son, blaming herself for everything. Her dad, on the other hand, became steely and cold. One day, her dad told her that losing both of her sons was too much for that fragile lady. Angel became more dependent on herself. "but I talked to dad about it and he said it was fine!" She really did ask him about it. Her dad wasn't cold hearted about it. He was, of course, hesitant, but she persuaded him. "he paid for my ticket and everything"

Sheer frowns slightly at the idea of his parents. Even though his father had never been that bad to him his mother had gone half-crazy trying to control every part of his life. Loath to live in that way, he had ran away to live with his brother. Since that hadn't turned out to well, he'd run away again and gotten into Castle. He had assumed that his entire family hated him or just stopped caring because they hadn't even tried to visit in the last few years. His mom was like that, she spent her life feeling badly but wasn't willing to do anything about it. Sheer doubts that they told Angelica the truth about everything being 'fine' but that is okay because it won't benefit her to know the truth.
"Dad bought your ticket? That was nice of him." Surprising, too.... Sheer hadn't thought that the man would ever do something so out of character as to let his only child left leave. Then again, the whole talking to animals thing might have freaked him out enough to give him that push...
"Hey, Angel, do you want to go visit the little city? I owe you four years worth of birthday christmas and valentines day presents so I've got to start catching up." He's already late for Anatomy, which is okay because he's good at anatomy and can still get a decent grade without going. On the other hand, it's probably not the best for Angel to make a habit of missing classes. He figures that if he makes this a one-time thing then he can help her catch up on homework tonight.
A little frustrated with himself, he runs a hand through his hair. He'd promised himself that when he saw Angel again he'd try to be a good older brother. He tells himself that he'll definitely start doing that tomorrow, since he really does owe her for disappearing and not sending her letters or anything.

Angelica smiled from ear to ear, "OF COURSE!!!!" She hugged him with excitement. She was still somewhat new and would love to look around. She bounced with bliss, eager to bond with her brother. "Hey Sheer?" She detected some unease in him. She didn't know what was wrong, but a truthful compliment wouldn't hurt. "You're the best big brother I could ever ask for." She felt like he was going to argue, but before he had a chance she added on. "Really, I wouldn't trade you for the world!" She looked him in the eyes, trying to emanate her honesty. She gave him a little smile, took his hand, and said, "Let's get going!" with a small giggle.

Sheer stiffens in surprise, he hadn't expected her to be so enthusiastic, and it catches him off guard so completely that it takes almost a full second for him to remember. He chuckles and hugs her back, rapidly blinking away the red color in his eyes so Angel won't notice. Because he can, he ruffles her hair, which is conveniently about a foot lower than his head. "You really think I'm the best? That's a really high complement to live up to, ya know? Whatever, thanks little girl."
He releases her from the hug, and then lets her drag him towards the exit. It's amazing, really, to see his sister in the living present, the here and now, and so close that he can touch her and hear her voice. It's so weird that it's almost unbelievable, but that's good. It's a good unbelievable. Like; oh-wow, I-can't-believe-my-parents-got-me-a-japanese-racing-car-for-my-sixteenth-birthday unbelievable. It really makes him happy. "You know what? I'll one-up you, you're a pretty beast little sister, traveling all this way just to get here."
(Somehow... I think I'm messing up Sheer's accent. Oh well... -laugh-)

Angel blushed at Sheer's compliment. "Thanks", she said bashfully. Once she felt the heat fade away from her cheeks, she skipped towards the exit her hair bouncing happily. "Well, you probably know how to get around hear better than I..... sooooo which way captain!" She smiled at her brother. As she waited for his response, she slowly rocked from side to side. The sun was shining well and the white clouds were fluffy and floating in the great blue sky. She waved to the occasional birds or butterflies that fluttered by greeting them as if they were human. It was funny how shocked the animals looked when Angel replied to them.

"Okay, it's not to far by car. This way." He holds Angel's hand and leads her down a few flights of stairs and out into the garden. They pass through that and then head onto the parking lot. "Technically, we're not supposed to have cars, and we're not allowed to go to the little city. However... everyone thinks that this is a teacher's car, and if they see me using it they don't ask questions." He laughs, opening the door of the black truck. Despite the chilly edge to the air, the inside of the truck seems warm and comforting. It's also relatively clean, except for some gun wrappers tossed in the back seat, two or three paint brushes, and piles of CDs on the floor near the passenger seat. "Climb in, kid. "

Angel slid into the passenger seat silently. She clicked on her seat-belt and rolled down the window. She liked the fresh open air rather than the artificial and stuffy air of the car. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. From experience, she knew her hair would flick at her face once the car started to move. She then split her hair in the middle and took a hair-tie off of her wrist. She tied one half and then the other, resulting in to low pigtails. When she was done fiddling with her hair she realized she was in Sheer's car. He could drive. It was unbelievable how long it really was that they had been apart. "Wow..... you can drive already..... That's so cool!" The fact had really just slapped her in the face. Her heart was still thumping. She found her brother, finally.

Sheer puts the keys in the ignition and starts the car. The truck comes to life with a particularly obnoxious roar that's both satisfying and amusing. He backs out of the parking spot and charges down the rows at breakneck speed. He's always driven crazy, it's more fun and he enjoys looking at all of the horrified faces he passes on the road. It's okay for him to drive that fast because of his heightened reflexes, which is something that the rest of the world refuses to understand. He can handle a car going ninety better than most people can going at twenty.
"Yeah, I'm eighteen, I drive awesomely." He brags, grinning. Sheer takes his eyes off the road for a moment to glance at her braids. How cute, she has braids. He laughs. "Alright, we're here. There's a really awesome candy shop, a mini-mall, and a movie theater on this street. Or we can go to the beach, if you don't mind getting your clothes wet." He shrugs, whatever she wants to do is fine with him.

Angel gasped at the speed they drove at. Before she knew it, the trip was over though. She then categorized it as fun. She looked around at the small shops deciding which one to raid, but then Sheer said "candy store". She smiled from ear to ear. "Sheer, can we go to the candy store first??? And then to the beach!!!" She was bouncing with eagerness. She didn't really care for the mini-mall because she didn't have any money, and didn't want to use up all of her brother's. The movie theater wouldn't really be good because then she wouldn't get to really talk to Sheer. She reaaaaaaaally wanted to go to the candy store and go play at the beach.

"Hmm. You want candy?" He searches his mental map for a moment and then turns down a few streets until they're parked in front of a small store with a green-painted front. "Well, here we are. This is the finest vegetable store in town. They've got all sorts of things, cabbage, spinach, bustle sprouts. Maybe if you're good we can even buy some artichokes." He motions at the sign on the front of the store, which clearly says 'Milo and Bruke's Candy Shoppe'.

Angel grimaced at the sound of vegetables. She looked up at the store though and giggled. "Come on!" She pushed the door, but it wouldn't budge. She looked up and read the word 'pull'. "Oh....haha....whoops." She pulled the door open. She was simply frozen at the sight of so much candy. She walked to the center of the store, and sucked in a gasp. "Sheer......I'm so happy right at this moment....." She walked wandered around in the store, staring at the gummy bears, sour straws, chocolate chip cookie dough bundles, chocolate covered caramel, chocolate covered nuts, jolly ranchers, lollipops, smarties, and much much more. "Sheer! Can I fill up a bag of candy???" She looked up at him pleadingly with her milk chocolate colored eyes.
