Sheer covers his mouth with his hand to hide the fact that he's laughing at her. He follows Angel into the candy store and leans against a wall to watch her excitement. It's nice that she can still be so pleasantly surprised just by a candy store. "Good, I'm glad I've made you happy." He says, determined to properly play the role of a good older brother. "Yeah, take as much as you want, I've got money." He checks the prices to make sure that he can actually afford all the candy and is a little relieved to see that he'll even have left over money. Unlike the twins, he actually has to worry about this kind of stuff.

"YAY!" Angel exclaimed. She knew reuniting with her brother would bring her bliss, but it overwhelmed her slightly the excitement within her. She grabbed a small plastic bag and started to fill it up. "Hmmmm....." She put in a little bit of everything, but didn't hold back with the mlik duds, her favorite. She continued to fill it up with sour straws and gummy bears. When the bag was two thirds full, she turned to Sheer. "Okidoki!" she confirmed. She skipped over to the counter and put the bag on the scale. She pleaded to the scale in her mind that it wouldn't cost too much. She didn't want to bombard her big brother.

Sheer pulls out his wallet from the deep pockets in his jeans and takes out a few bills. "The Fastbreaks are the best." He says, picking up one for himself. He isn't generally a big eater of candy, but he hasn't eaten anything today and now he's hungry enough to eat anything.
While he waits for his sister to pick out her candy he leans against the wall, resting his head for a moment. His head has been hurting on and off for a while now, maybe his body is telling him to sleep more, or to eat decent food. He watches Angel search for what she wants among the piles. It's as much his fault as anyone's for not keeping in touch with her over the last few years. That makes him a pretty lousy older brother. Still, she seems happy enough so he decides that he's better off not worrying to much.
(sorry for not posting back for so long. Do you want to keep continuing the thread or should we work towards finishing it?)

{lol its okk and I think we should look towards finishing it after they visit the beach and catch up a little bit more ^^}
After business was finished at the candy store, Angel skipped outside towards Sheer's car. She flings a piece of candy into her mouth and savors it with a smile. "Thank you Sheer." she said, giving him a hug. The feeling of nostalgia fluttered in her chest. When she thought about it, him leaving wasn't too bad. She found him eventually, and the feeling was grand. At home, the atmosphere could have been clouded in a tense fog. Also, she could harvest her powers at the special school. She discovered her powers shortly after her brother left because she found herself with a lot more time alone. She hugged Sheer tighter now, closing her eyes and swallowing the painful lump in her throat. She released her brother and smiled at him. "Let's go to da beach!!" she exclaimed.
