Brooke Jenson
"Music is my refuge... I lie between the notes and lay there to think..."
it's all about me.
LIKES. Roses, exploring, singing, instruments, just music all together.
DISLIKES. Betrayal, abandonment, mixed feelings...which she tends to have a lot of.
STRENGTHS. Speed, keeping secrets, singing, music; She can play any and every instrument you throw at her.
WEAKNESSES. She lacks courage and strength.
HABITS/QUIRKS. Whenever she's upset, she pouts and whines like a toddler.
FEARS. Lightning, thunder, failure, and being alone, forgotten.
SECRETS. Her fears are her secrets. Many people look at her as a child, and she dispises that. She yearns to appear stronger than she really is, but she has trouble masking her true feelings. Also, she's two-faced, and not very sure of anything.
FULL PERSONALITY. Brooke is a very honest, innocent, naive, and 'bubbly' girl. She loves meeting new people, but she doesn't open up to them easily. She appears friendly, but under her facade she is cautious, fearing betrayal and abandonment. Once she reaches out towards another, she grows passionate swiftly and her emotions become difficult to control. She knows that she is very dependent and she loathes that trait about herself. As a hesitant girl, she attempts to analyzes things carefully, but she is clumsy and a little ditzy. Even so, she will fight for what she believes in and defend what is right without a second thought.

FULL HISTORY. Brooke was raised by her mother, who taught her the fundamentals of music. This became the foundation for her love of music. She doesn't have many true friends, so her free time is spent on exploring new instruments and types of music. Her father is currently missing, or dead. She knows nothing about him, not even his name. She only knows that he has the same eye color as her, sapphire, and that he betrayed her mother. For this reason, she despises him, even though she doesn't even know his name. She fears asking her mom, because the agony is evident, especially when her mother looks into her eyes. Ms. Jenson's expression imediately grows dour and somber when he is brought up, so Brooke avoids the topic, even though the curiousity eats her alive at times. Otherwise, her childhood was peacefull, maybe even slightly dull. She is new to Castle, as are the students from the Havens.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE. Brooke sat on the roof of her mother's shop, thinking. The wind caressed her long wavy brown hair, making it quite chilly, but she didn't mind. She was lost in thought. On the roof, was her own personal rose garden. She was surrounded by roses of every color, enveloped in their crisp scent. Roses were her favorite. Thoughts dashed through her mind, she was pondering about her enigmatic father. What did he do that hurt mother so much? Why would he hurt her so? What kind of man was he? What is his name? Questions like these pestered her everyday, but she wouldn't dare ask her mother. Ms. Jenson could never even look her own daughter in the eyes without tearing up. "You and your father share the same beautiful deep blue eyes. ", her mother once told her. She let out a sigh, stood up, and shook her head. She decided that she wouldn't let this bother her right now, soon she was going to attend Castle. It was time for a fresh start, a new chapter of her life was beginning.
