Forte, or Artemis, as he was pretending to be, got an important text message from her. Esme. In the message it was mentioned that Alucard was no longer his main concern. There was a person, a woman, by the name of Flock whom Esme believed merited some investigation. Someone who might be tampering with the intended target.
It was a simple matter to locate Ms. Flock. That much was obvious by the lettering on a door that read Clinic and underneath that, Nurse Flock. Without so much as a breath, Forte slipped inside, laptop tucked under his arm. He handed the lady at the desk his blue pass and seated himself on one of the chairs. Waiting.
While he waited, Forte consulted his laptop, establishing a link on Skype. No additional hardware was required because the laptop had a webcam and built in speakers. Esme would know when to get on the other end. She wished to confront Flock as soon as Forte had his little chat.

Flock flicked her pen back and forth between her fingers, a fluid, quick motion that took less effort that it took to stare at the file sitting in front of her. The child of whom it belonged to had a special form of hemophilia, and had come in with a cut after an accident in science. He now lay in the cot over by the door, asleep, his face pale. Flock set the file back down on the bedside table and walked back to her desk, sitting down with a sigh.
On the row of blue chairs by the door sat a boy. She didn't remember him coming in, but he looked familiar in one way or another. She adjusted the glasses on her nose slowly, as if she had all the time in the world. She was getting more and more unexpected visits as time grew more and more stretched out.
“May I help you?” she asked patiently, her voice an octave higher than usual. She took this on when she spoke to students who didn’t know any better. Or maybe to students that did, and came anyway. Nevertheless, she couldn’t ignore the boy on the row of chairs.

Forte stood up as soon as Flock entered the room. Pyschologically, this put both of them on neutral ground. Flock was at a disadvantage because she could not speak down to someone who was standing up. Childish, yes, but then again she had annoyed him when she spoke in a tone that suggested or implied that she had better things to do. It seemed to Forte an odd notion for a school nurse.
He grinned only slightly. If Esme had been there, she surely would have chastised him for his behavior. Oh well. It was his personal philosophy, to give what he received. Fair is fair, right?
Forte stared calmly at Flock. "Yes, I hope you can," he replied, pretending to have overlooked and completely disregarded the invisible waves of irritability and annoyance coming off the nurse caused by this unexpected visit. A shame to have one's precious time wasted. "What I have to discuss with you is of a significant importance. But, they are things to be discussed in private, so before we begin I would like your word on confidentiality."
