It had been days since Robin had practiced ballet. The teacher of her ballet class had had to go to south america because her husband had gotten in some trouble there so the class had been temporarily canceled. No other teachers had been willing to teach ballet to a group of freaks. Her ipod in the crappy speaker is plugged into a convenient outlet a short distance away and is blasting some of her favorite music. The current song was the one from Black Swan where the black swan has an amazingly cool but really difficult dance. There's supposed to be a partner but no one else is there so she just pretends and does her best. Turn... turn... don't bend your leg at the wrong time... hold your hands up. Robin thinks, feeling sweat running down her back and shoulders. It felt so good. The song reaches an fast bit that never fails to get her excited. She comes out of the spin flying and slides into the next set of moves, breathing hard and laughing because she's so exhilarated. She leaps lightly on a wall that divides two levels of the roof, the lower one only a foot below her. The floor is baked by the sun and it burns her feet but she's moving so quickly that it doesn't matter. Following the instructions she'd memorized she jumps into the air and turns twice, landing on one foot. The moment she lands her leg buckles under the sudden weight and she crumples against the concrete. Robin's head cracks around the side and she rapidly shakes it to clear it. What happened? She thinks, already realizing that she hadn't positioned her leg right to where it would hold all of her weight. Frustrated, she tries to get up but ends up rolling onto her back, breathing more quickly than she's supposed to. She hadn't felt this sick in a while and she'd kind of forgotten how bad it felt and how suddenly it came on. Her head, stomach, and back all hurt and it feels like her ankle is swollen. How stupid! She chides herself, waiting for the sickness to pass. Recently she'd been feeling bad and she'd taken the appropriate amount of pain medicine to counter the pain. Today, she realizes, she'd forgotten to take the medicine. So of course she's feeling the full weight of whatever it is that's attacking her immune system. She sighs and closes her eyes, not knowing what to do about this crippling pain.

In the still quiet of the morning, the silence is broken by one person's breathing and another's distraught gasp. The slowly progressing morning painted its canvas sky with a variety of bright colors ranging from the soft baby blues that clashed with darker cyan hues and the white of cirrus clouds, their wispy forms edged in yellow sunlight. Golden rays streamed downwards from the heavens and caught in Alucard's raven hair as he stood in the doorway leading up to the roof. His crestfallen orange eyes widen in surprise when he spies his friend, Robin, lying on the concrete. A soft wind stirs her blonde hair, and had her face not appeared to be contorted in pain, Alucard would have thought her to be sleeping.
He too was an early person. Sometimes, he would come up here to enjoy the quiet solitude as the last stars faded away to the dawn. But this was a different story. Alucard had come a little later than he usually did, but he still had not expected anyone. Stepping out of the doorway, his concerns were no longer focused on the shifting of time. He slowly approaches Robin, and softly says her name, as so not to startle her, for her eyes are closed.

Robin hears someone calling her name and opens her eyes. The last thing she needs is someone finding her and then taking her to the nurse so they can decide that she's to sick to stay here. "Um... Alucard?" She guesses, hurting to much to want to risk turning her head. "Hi." The pain in her head is making it kind of hard to think so she tries not to. Instead, she shifts a bit so she's lying there more comfortably and stares up at the sky.
(sorry it's so short...)

//OOC: oh, don't worry about it ^^//
Alucard stoops down beside Robin, sinking to his knees. The heat of the hot concrete seeps through the fabric of his pants and warms his cool skin. "Yes, its me," he replies, looking for any possible injuries. "Hey." Alucard realizes it might not be appropriate to hold a conversation when Robin is apparently in much pain, but he continues nonetheless.
"You surprised me. I didn't think anyone else came up here this early." Finally, Alucard spies the cause of Robin's distress. On her ankle, an area of skin had a faint blueish-black discoloration, indicating bruising. It looked swollen, which meant she may have sprained it. "How did this happen?"
Aware of her medical history, Alucard's concern grows exponentially, but his face is calm. If he knew where her medication was, he would surely find it and bring it back. However, it was more than likely in her dorm and by the looks of things, Robin needed it now. It left Alucard with very few options.

Robin shrugs. "Ah, well, if I don't practice ballet I won't get better. And no one comes up here this early." She closes her eyes for a moment as a fresh wave of pain moves through her head. "I tripped. And fell. Off a wall... I've got advil in my bag by the... over there." She groans internally, wishing that some other person could have found her. She must look awful and she thinks that if he realizes how sick she is he'll be like her parents and turn obsessive. Or maybe he doesn't want a pity case and he'll run away as soon as he can. She opens her eyes again and stares at the sky.

"Right." Quickly, Alucard rose to his feet and spotted Robin's bag propped up against one of the walls. He wasted no time looking through her things to find the advil, and upon finding it, returned to Robin's side, taking the cap off. "How many of these do you need?" Alucard asked. He felt bad about asking so many questions.

Robin sighs in relief at just seeing the bottle. Over the years she'd developed a strong attachment to the medicine. "Uh..." She mouths five but doesn't get the words out. "Five." SHe tries again. She props herself up on her elbows, trying again to fight the pain.

Alucard silently removes five pills from the bottle, and hands them to Robin. He is doesn't like seeing her in this much pain, and hopes the medicine will grant her relief. And the sprained ankle..that'll need ice and elevation.

Robin takes the pills from him and swallows them dry, choking only a little bit. Instantly she feels better, not because they work that quickly, but because she knows that an almost triple dose of pain meds will definitely take care of the pain. Slowly, because she's trying not to make her head hurt more, she sits up and leans against a nearby wall. "Thank you. I'm sorry you had to..." She trails off, not sure how to say what she's apologizing for.
