There is a pathetically small amount of people here, Sheer decides. It is utterly demoralizing, even though it is still to early to judge numbers. His long white hair is tied back in a loose ponytail and for once in his life he looks like he means business. All of his earrings and bracelets are conspicuously missing and instead of the school uniform he's wearing loose jeans and a faded black t-shirt.
"You two are the first here, congrats." He says dryly to the two people who had just emerged from the trees. Kao, the younger twin, and Juliet, only invited because Kao had vouched for her, both look at him grimly.
"I'm not here to help you, or join you." The modifier says straight off. "I just want to know what's going on." She is taller than him today with a black tattoo of some kind of bird on one side of her neck. Sheer still isn't used to her erratic appearance changes but he manages not to show it.
"Whatever, I'm not in the business of forcing people to do things. Just hear me out." He shrugs, mentally wishing that he could have her support. From what Kao had told him she had survived so many battles it is amazing that she isn't dead. Her gift is rumored to be unbeatable, able to adapt to anything. When he had heard that he'd nearly collapsed laughing because that's what he had thought his power was, only no one knows yet.
Still... two people. Hell, he hopes that more people will appear.
For weeks he had been hacking into the school's cameras, listening in on conversations, anything to find out what Flock was doing. The whole time he'd thought it was funny, everyone thought of him as a guy who doesn't care about anyone. He had gotten to a point where he was pretty sure who was on Flock's side and who was still stupidly oblivious. Then he had gotten in touch with everyone who wasn't with Flock and told them to meet him here, in the woods, around this time. When Flock had captured Fivel he'd realized that it was act or start bowing to the nurse.
"Sheer..." Kao says, softly. "Do you even have a plan?" Sheer grins, not without emotion.
"Not really, does that disappoint you, rich guy that you are? I'm not a leader or the guy that makes the decisions, but I at least want the sheer to know that all the wolves aren't dead." Sheer trails off, hearing voices coming from somewhere in the forest. He tenses, hoping that it's a decent amount of people coming and not any of those wolves.
