Trip to the Shores(OPEN)

Seth shrugged. "Uh fine I guess. I'm sorry that your sister died," he said apologetically.

Ginger looked at seth and then walked over and hugged him. I missed you so much she said starting to cry.

Brooke felt a small pang of jealousy, like a pesky splinter, at the sight of Seth's friend. They seemed close, where as Brooke had only encountered him once. Despite her jealous nature, her lip quivered and tears welled up behind her eyelids when she heard of Ginger's loss. She ran up to them and joined their hug, practically pouncing on them and soaking them with seawater. "I'm so so so sorry for your loss...." she murmured to her potentially new friend. Backing away from the hug after a minute or two, she cleared her tears with the back of her hands and put on her friendly, bubbly smile. "Hi I'm Brooke!" she greets enthusiastically. Her smile disappeared for a sec, she had gotten them wet, "Gah.....sorry I got you guys wet.... But now you guys are set to play in The water! Darren and I started playing tag but we could do something else if you want." She scanned the area for activities, and found some caves that needed exploring. "Oh! There are lots of caves we can go through!"
"Sounds cool" said Darren from behind her. He shook his head like a dog, water going everywhere. "Hey, I'm Darren. It's nice to meet you guys" he introduced himself. Brooke giggled, "I found some more people to play with us! This is Seth and....." she frowned, "I tackled you guys so abruptly, I didn't get your name..."

[Mieka]

Ginger looked at Brooke and wanted to push her off but that was rude and plus she was seth's friend. I really really hope he didn't move on to someone else she thought biting her bottom lip. The thought made her almost made her go crazy. The name is Ginger and Im with seth. It's just that I had to leave the Havens for a bit cause im a werewolf. I had to control my Trasformations but in the process, my sister got killed. Ginger explained.

Seth scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Easy there," he muttered to Ginger, not wanting her to tackle Brooke. "So, anyone what to play some tag?" He asked lamely, trying to change the subject.

Brooke froze, she didn't know Seth had a.....significant other. She threw him a pained look on instinct, biting her lip the way she always did when she was upset. She either bit her lip, or threw one of her tantrums, which Darren always found amusing. But when she wasn't acting spoiled, there was something wrong. Brooke couldn't find the words to say, and that was apparent to Darren. He poked her head, "Hey you, you were it remember?" he said slightly concerned. Brooke cleared her head, looked at her brotherly figure thankfully, and giggled "Well....I'm not it anymore" She tagged Seth "No tag backs!!!" she shouted, running towards the sea. Darren was following her not far behind with a smile of relief.

Seth sighed, the air making a hiss through his clenched teeth. He ran sluggishly through the water, chasing after Darren. He tried to concentrate on the splashes his feet made to keep himself from thinking. He jogged up to Darren and tapped his shoulder. "You're it, no tag backs." Seth took off in the other direction before Darren could protest.

Ginger stood there and looked at them. What a lame game She thought and plopped on the ground sitting. She put her head in her hands and watched them. She pulled out a piece of paper that had writing on it. The letter read..Oh seth, How long I waited to see you. I found out that the school burned down and I thought that you went with it, So I searched for you. She folded the note back up and put it back in her pocket.

Brooke floated on the waves, staring at the clouds. She then heard Darren coming after her, but she wasn't really in the mood for playing tag and swimming in circles anymore. She retreated to the nearest cave. Upon setting foot in the eerie cave, a shiver ran down her spine, it was freezing. She folded her arms in front of her, trying to create some warmth. The cave went down pretty far, it would make for a great exploration. She stepped out to the edge of the cave and waved at her friends on the shore, beckoning for them to join her.

Samie sighed, throwing her book down. It was getting lengthy and boring. She looked at Brooke beckoning and stood up to join her exploration.
Seth glanced at where Brooke was. "Hey," he said to Ginger, "You wanna explore the cave?"

[Mieka]

As a tear fell down her cheek she got up and walked over to seth, Sounds good. She said.

Seth's eyebrows furrowed with concern. "Are you okay?" He asked. Maybe I shouldn't have brought up her sister, he thought.

[Mieka]

Its nothing, Im just glad to see you. she said and then turned towards him. She stood there looking at him and then kissed him.

Seth made a noise of surprise and jerked back unconsciously. "Um.. sorry," he apologized. He awkwardly ran a hand through his hair. "Er.. let's go catch up with the others." He started walking ahead. Why the hell am I overreacting? he wondered, it was a kiss. It's not like she attacked me.

[Mieka]

Ginger felt like her heart dropped. Does he still love me? she thought. She stood there for a minute trying not to cry. Then she started walking slowly. I hope that he does love me she thought.
