Holly couldn't help but tap her fingers occasion on the steering wheel as she drove down the high way. In a matter of minuets, she would be pulling into her parents driveway. She would be leading the way into a home, in which she she should have grown up in. The home that her childhood should have taken place in, along with her siblings. Zachary was sitting in the passenger seat. On occasion, she'd begin a conversation through thought with him, blocking out any others to read their minds. She and Zachary hadn't told their parent they'd be bring children they hadn't seen in over 10 years to their home. Nathan and Tiffany of course knew of this. Holly had dressed Tiffany, forcing her to were a bit more normal-ish person cloths. She'd put her younger sister into a white V-neck, and dark-ish jeans. She hadn't had to hold her down, and after a few smart ass remarks, and eye rolling, the girl had given in, and dressed as Holly had said. A shallow victory, but this was going to be emotional Holly guessed. Her Mother hadn't seen Tiffany in 10 years. From what Holly remembered of the time she'd spent with her birth parents, Tiffany was in love with their Mother, rarely leaving their mothers side, and all ways claiming the older women lap as her own personal seat. Even in fun activities. Tiffany could be found snuggling close to her Mommy, sucking her thumb. Nathan, well, Holly knew he was barely 3 or 4 when the family had separated. From what she remembered, Her Father had treated Nathan as his pride and joy, much like Zachary. Nathan had a special place in her Fathers heart, and she knew, it must have broken him to give him to another Man. Nathan and Zachary both. He loved his girls to death, but his two boys, he had a strong connection with. Unlike most of the girls, both Nathan and Zachary seemed to take a liking like no their to their Father as well. their Father was a man of respect. He held that respect with love, and kindness toward his children. He respected his children, and in return, they respected him. Zachary had taken the chore of dressing Nathan. It'd been a bit simpler, he laid out the cloths, said "Get dressed, we're going soon." and the younger boy had shrugged, and done it. He hadn't even had to use Holly as a death threat. Zachary had worn the same thing pretty much, long white sleeves, black tie, and black dress pants. "We're hear." Holly announced. She locked the car doors, and turned around in her seat."They don't know that we brought you guys.." she said, looking at her sister, than youngest Brother. "Don't be mad at them... If they don't recognize you at first. Y'all look a lot different from when you were 6, and 3 years old." she said. "They're gonna wanna love on you a bit when they figure it out... I don't know how long that'll take, might be instantly, or take some time. What ever happens, you can''t deny them. If Mom or Dad wants to hug you, I don't care if you hug them back, you just stand there, and let them hug you, Kay?" Holly didn't want to order them around in such a manner,. but, it would kill her Mom and Dad to be rejected. "They'll explain their reasons... for everything.." she said. and unlocked the car doors. She looked back one more time, and than at Zachary. She gave him a nod,a nd they both got out of the car. Holly opened the door for Tiffany,a nd Zachary opened to other door on the car for Nathan. Holly offered her hand to Tiffany. It was a bit softy of her, but, in this situation, she felt that holding her sisters hand was acceptable. Zachary did not do this. Once Nathan was out, he put his arm around his younger Brothers neck, proudly presenting to the world that he was claiming this young boy as his Family

Tiffany could barely sit still. No, not because of excitement, sadly; but because she had drank Five Hour Energy before this, to make her seem more perky. It had worked, obviously; her makeup was lighter, and she felt happier. Nathan, on the other hand, sulked in his seat, his sunglasses low over his eyes, his iPod in his ears. Tiffany turned to him. "Isn't this grea-" He hopped out of the car before Tiffany could continue. Her blue eyes were panged with regret. She squeezed Holly's hand. "I.." Her stomach suddenly felt queasy. "..I don't know if I can do this." she whispered to her older sister. Nathan stood beside Zachary, his emotions hidden behind the dark glasses. "Let's go." he said flatly. "My clothes are goin' outta style."

Holly smiled reassuringly at Tiffany, now seeing the girl younger, and much more fragile. She helped the girl out of the car, and took both of Tiffany's hands into her own. "You can do this Tiffany. Less than 20 feet away is your Mother." Holly could have kicked herself. Those probably weren't the most relaxing of words. "Come hear you." she smiled, and hugged Tiffany, holding her in her arms, rubbing small cycles onto the girls back. "Nothing but love Tiff, nothing but love behind those doors." She broke the hug, and held her Sisters hand, walking small steps, urging her Sister to follow. Zachary looked down at Nathan. With the hand that was on the other side of his head, he gave him a soft, but meaningful bop to the head. "If you act that way around your Mother and Father, I assure you, I'll make sure you regret it" Zachary normally wasn't this harsh, but he would not allow this around his parents. "If you want respect, you gotta have some for others first." he said, and started walking. In the house, Miranda was making sandwiches. Yes, how very stereotypical of her, but, it was a simple meal, and it appeased the two people that were coming, and she didn't mind. Robert came into the room. He was dressed in a white shirt, and jeans. He wasn't wearing any shoes. "Hey honey?" he asked as he walked into the kitchen "Do you know when Holly, and Zachary are coming?" Miranda shrugged as she put the sandwiches on the table. " Heard a car, so I think their hear." Robert nodded "Aren't you going out to greet them?" he asked. Miranda shrugged. "No, good grief Robert, I think we can get through at least one visit with our kids without a sob fest." Holly smirked as she walked up to the door, hearing her Mothers thoughts. "Good luck with that Mommy Dearest..." she thought. She held Tiffany's hand in her own. Holly smiled "She loves you allot ya know." she mused softly. "And Daddy really loves Nathan... He loves us to.. But out of 6 kids, he got 2 little boys. He lost a lot of himself when he let all of us go... He lost 2 sons, and 3 daughters... Gwen's the only one that stayed with them... The rest of us were in Bible school.. Gwen was sick so she stayed with them... Luckiest thing that ever happened to her was getting sick." Holly smirked, and shook her head and looked at Tiffany. "I love you Tiffany." she said, as she realized she'd never told your sister that. "I'll love you no matter what.. No mater what mistakes you make, or have made. I'll love you no matter what." As soon as she finish the door opened and there stood Miranda. Looking on at the two blonde's at her doorstep. One was Holly... Was the other one Margaret...? Her brain was racing and she finally got it. "Tiffany.." she whispered. Miranda's eyes grew wide. "Tiffany!" she said again, only louder. She had no restraints as she hugged the teenager, holding her tight, pulling her a few feet into the house. Holly smiled and slipped out of the moment and went to go on and get her sandwich. "Oh My god.." Miranda repeated as she cried softly, and hugged her daughter. One that she only remembered as a six year old. It was a huge step from her child being waist high to, well, all most as high as her! "Oh my god... Your so beautiful." she cried. ""I love you baby, I love you." she cried still hugging her daughter. She never wanted to stop, but loosened up so if Tiffany wanted to stop, she had that option. She held the child close to her, and in the hug she'd placed the side of Tiffany's head in the area above her breast, so the top of the child's head rested on her collar bones. When Tiffany had been born, up till when she still didn't know to to walk and talk, Miranda had held her in this position, only she'd been in a rocking chair, and Tiffany had been barely a foot tall, and her babyish body it perfectly in the dents of Miranda's body. Like a human puzzle piece. Zachary still stood a little ways away. His mother could only have so much excitement in the course of a few minuets. "One moment." he said, making sure his grip on Nathan was a bit stronger. "Let her have her moment... Holly's got this figured out right to the second." and indeed Holly did. She smiled as she sat with her legs crossed as she looked on at her Mother, adoring Tiffany. With shaky hands, she could see her mother pushing back hair out of the child's face once the hug had ended. She could see her mother cupping either sides of Tiffany's face, and just looking into her child's eyes. Robert smiled and was beginning to stand up where he had taken a seat in the family room that sprung off from the entrance of the house. Miranda soon urged Tiffany to the sofa, sitting her baby beside her, holding her hands in her own. Though it wasn't intentional, she was making sure that no one would take Tiffany away... She'd watched it happen once before. She thought that all those children were going to happy homes... That man in that black suit and stone cold face didn't seem like fatherly material. And in her mindset, as long as she was touching, holding her babies, then nobody could take them away again. Holly looked at her mother's baby-bump. She'd gotten bigger since the last time, and could see the full extent of her mother's pregnancy, now more than ever. This had been discovered at their last visit, their Mother had announced it, and to say the least, Gwen hadn't been too happy about it. Robert could see that he wasn't going to be cuddling his Daughter anytime soon, and he smiled at his wife, who was too busy with Tiffany, and all that she was, to focus on anyone else. He walked over to were Tiffany was sitting, and bent down, and kidnapped one of the hands that Miranda had been holding. He smiled at his daughter, and kissed her hand softly, and smiled. "Your hand used to be just as big as my thumb...." he mused, and continued to hold the child's hand. Holly looked to the door, and as she did, it opened, and in walked Zachary. He'd taken the sunglasses and iPod, and when Nathan had argued, he'd lost it a bit, and stomped both into the ground. Robert looked up, and could see his...Sons? He saw Zachary first, seeing as he was 7 feet tall, then saw the shorter lad looking annoyed. He stood up slowly, and walked over to Nathan. Could this be his baby boy? The last of the litter that had been born into the cult? Robert put a hand on Nathan's shoulders, and tears welled up in the old mans eyes. "Son." he said softly, and pulled Nathan into his arms, holding him close as she bent down to Nathan's size, and the fact he felt weak from seeing two of the last of his lost children. "Thank you Jesus." he whispered as he hugged his son. Holly smiled at Zachary, and nodded to him. He went over to his twin sister, and sat down in one of the large comfy chairs, and Holly followed, squeezing in to fit beside him. She rested her head on his shoulder. "Such a pity... "My younger brothers bigger than me." she smiled, and snuggled up to him, while he put an arm around her.

Tiffany turned at an angle to look at Mrs. Fox. She's real... she actually exists. Tiffany lifted her thin hand to touch Mrs. Fox's cheek, but pulled away. After arguing with herself a minute longer, she finally reached up and touched her mother's cheek. She stretched her mother's cheeks up at an angle, as if to undo what time had done to her face, as if to find the past in her face. Finally her eyes lit up as memories rushed back to her. Memories of sitting on her mother's lap, of silently fiddling with her glasses that she needed so much. Those glasses were later broken, as she 'didn't need them', according to her 'father'. "It.." Tiffany could barely speak. "It is you." Nathan watched Tiffany be lead inside, as Zachary broke his glasses and iPod. "Dude! What the he-" His cry stopped short as someone held him in their arms. Woah. No one, no one ever dares to approach Nathan, let alone touch him, or hug him even. Nathan looked up at the man above him, meeting his dark blue eyes. His own clouded with disbelief. Did he say son? Son my ass. Nathan spat in his head angrily. "Get away from me!" Nathan yelled, pushing the man away from him, that was supposedly his father. "Don't touch me." he seethed. Through his unapproachable tone, tears flooded his eyes, yet did not spill. He didn't expect anyone to stop him, not even Zachary. And if he did, Nathan would use his unbelievable strength to stop him. Tiffany's cheeks were wet with tears. "Nathan.." she managed. Nathan interuptted her. "Shut up!" he yelled. "You've always been so cautious, so unbelievably unfogiving, and you believe this crap?!" The tears spilled over his cheeks and he glared at anyone who dared to look at him. "If you're my parents, where have you been?" he challenged them. "Where were you, when I was raped, electrocuted, sliced at, shot?" He slammed his sleeves up his arms, revealing painful, ugly scars that ran up and down them. Tiffany shrieked and covered her eyes. Nathan's eyes were black pupils with rivers running through them. He was scary to approach, even if he were only 5'5.

Robert stood there stuck in a state of shock. His tears ran dry as he looked at his youngest sons arms. "Who did this to you.." he said, his voice low, and angry, all most demonic. "It was... that man..." he said, his eyes much like Nathans, dark blue, and a deadly message hidden behind them. Miranda had pulled away from Tiffany, and was now laying her torso on her knees, going limp. sobs came from Miranda, and Holly blinked as her Mother moved down to the floor, and curled up in a fetal position. "M-Mom." she chocked out and rushed out of the chair she had shared with Zachary to aid her Mother. She helped her sit on the ground, but the women was broken. Her child hated her, he'd yelled, and he was hurt, and she didn't make it better, she didn't know how Why had she sent them to bible school that day, why couldn't she had been nice and let them stay in the room with them. And he'd said Raped... Shot... Cut... and Electrocution. "He hurt my babies." she sobbed as Holly helped her back onto the sofa. Holly sat on her knees between her Mothers legs, hugging her waist. Miranda's sobs were reduced as she began to rub Holly's back, as the girl ad bent forward, to hug her while she sat on the sofa. "Thank you Honey." Miranda sniffed softly. Holly nodded, and got up, and sat back beside her Mother, and Miranda pulled both of her oldest girls close, cuddling them together. This had been considerably easier when the two were smaller as Miranda recalled, but, she would push through it. Robert looked at his son, his face sober. "There... Aren't words..." he mumbled softly. "I can't... even say how.. Sorry I am Nathan.." He said. Zachary stood up and walked over by Nathan, putting a hand on his shoulder, but not for power. he looked down at him. "Their hear to help, not hurt..." he said. 'What they did in the past they regret. They can't change it. But, the least you can do is help them change the future."

Moms and dads are supposed to always be there for their kids, and you never had! If you loved me so much, then you would've never let Steel take me away! Steel has ruined my life, and hers!" he pointed accusingly at Tiffany and glared at her. "You. You're not even my sister! Sisters are supposed to love their brothers, and all you did was ignore me while they tortured me!" Tiffany's face had changed to that of a mask. It didn't change, didn't alter in anyway from his words. He pointed at her again. He breathed deeply for a while, staring at his sister with wide eyes. No, the monster in front of him. "You aren't who you say you are anymore!" he shouted with all of his might, and after he pulled away, grimmacing in pain that somehow came into contact with him. "Why.." he murmured. At this, Nathan burst into a run, and he blasted out the door.

As soon as Nathan had finished his little speech, Zachary ran after him, and caught up to his younger brother. He wasn't angry with him, not as much as he should have been. He knew everyone would deal with this in their own way. Nathan had been abused, like a large segment of the family's children. The only two that hadn't yet been raped, were Margaret, Gwen, and Zachary. And for a boy to be raped, it was just as damaging as it was to a girl. "Nathan.." he said, looking at Nathan as his back was turned to him. "I know your hurt on the inside... I want to help you... He took a few steps forward, but gave Nathan his space. "I won't let anyone hurt you again Nathan. Your my only Brother, and if anyone so much as looks at you the wrong way, I'll hang them upside down by their feet and use them as a punching bag."
Miranda looked on at Tiffany. She didn't know who this person was. Her baby wasn't like this, she was happy, snuggily, and loveing. "Tiffany." she whispered, takeing her childs afce into her hands, softly so she looked at her. "You have to tell me everything baby." she said, two tears streamed down her cheeks. "I know what I did all thouse years ago was wrong but you have to tell me what happened."

Tiffany's eyes hazed over with memories. The blue irises seemed to change a color hue. "It's been so long." she said. "So long since Nathan slept even a full night. Every night he never sleeps. He sleeps for an hour and then walks around the room until he can't walk anymore. When I ask him what the matter is, he won't tell me." She closed her eyes. "But I know he can't sleep because he still expects Steel to come and drag him out of bed to be tortured. He used to hide first, until he realized Steel would never stop. But lately he'd just wait for Steel bravely. Nathan isn't afraid of anything, and he never was. He wouldn't even cry. He would take it as if he were indifferent about being cut at. Raped. Stoned. Electrocuted. " Tiffany's eyes were still closed, as she remembered the shock of the electricity as it bounced over Nathan. He hardly cried out, not a tear was shed. "He doesn't understand what friendship or compassion is. He's afraid of being betrayed or hurt."
Nathan shook his head and buried his hands in his sandy brown hair. "I.." He sobbed for a second, then looked up at Zachary the locks of hair that lay in his face, drenched by his tears and the rain that had begun to fall. "Zach," he said. "What's it feel like to be loved? Or to be cared about by someone?" His blue eyes were cold, icy blue.

Zachary's eyes softened at the young boy. he went to stand in front of him. "Nathan.." he began. "I want to hug you.." eh began. "If that okay Nathan? Can i show you the affection you need so badly? I want to give it dude, but you gotta accept it." Zachary paused, and raised his arms, as if he was going to hug Nathan. Zachary closed his eyes. "Just say the word." Miranda nodded as she looked at Tiffany, her hands falling slightly. Miranda's wrinkled face showed the lines of what time had done to her. She let go of Tiffany and sat limply in the chair, taking deep breaths. "There... wasn't a day the went by that I didn't....Think about you... I kept everything... God.. that trunk.. Everything in there.." Miranda's eyes brightened slightly, and her mouth turned upward. Robert knew what his wife was talking about, and hurried down the stairs to the basement, and carried back up a coffin sized trunk, having to drag it. They hadn't opened it since they'd last close it. Robert dropped it in front of Miranda and she hastily opened it. She smiled as she opened a boy within the trunk labeled 'Tiffany' she undid the tape carefully, and when opened, she pulled out a small baby gown. It was white with silver lining, along with mittens, baby booties and a bonnet. Miranda got a dreamy look on her face as she looked down at the baby out fit. She could remember holding Tiffany when she was in that dress. The little baby had refused to stop crying, and Miranda was in the mood of she wanted her baby to look proper, so she went through the kicking and screaming to rock the child to sleep in her 'proper clothing'. in the box there were dozens of pictures of Tiffany from the time she was born, till the day that She'd worn a new dress to the faithful day at Bible school. Miranda sat the dress down in between her and Tiffany, resting it mostly on Tiffany's lap while she looked through pictures of Tiffany, most of them were her snuggling up to her in a chair, one had her probably only a few hours old, wrapped up in the soft blanket while a teenager Miranda held her, supporting the baby's head, and just looking down at her, nothing less than love in her eyes. Holly went into the trunk and found disks, with tape on them with writing on them. One had 'bath time' labeled on it, and she quickly discarded that. She found a disk titled 'Mommy' and she crawled over to the T.V and inserted the disk. A video soon popped up on the screen, and Holly sat right in front of the T.V her neck angled back so she was looking up at it. Miranda looked up, and smiled as she could remember this, it was when she was the mother of 3, her twins, and than Tiffany. They were on the bed, and Zachary was seemingly absent, as Holly and Tiffany play frighted with their Mommy, though in the video, Tiffany was fighting Holly away, as Holly was 'hurting' Mommy, as the girlish image on the T.V pointed out many times. When the little Tiffany on the T.V picked up a weapon, which keep in mind was only a book, Miranda lifted the girl from the bed, up in the air, and into her lap, were she hugged Tiffany, and though the little child squirmed, Miranda moved from right to left, giving Tiffany kisses on each side of her face, while the child giggled, and tried to get away.

Nathan didn't wait for Zachary to hug him; he took the initiative and wrapped his short arms around Zachary's long, slender body. Nathan had this warm, excited feeling in his throat, but he pushed it down. Don't be an idiot. "I can't lose anyone else." he said quietly. "I've lost myself already." Nathan did mean what he said; sure, he acted all tough. But he didn't think that many people understood that he was younger than them. He did act like a total ass, but he was still a kid. "And I can't afford to lose anyone else either. Everyone's always going, 'Oh, Nathan's alright. He can take care of himself.' But what if I can't? What if, if, I'm just running in circles, never going anywhere or solving anything?" He buried his face in Zachary's shirt. It smelled good, like home. Tiffany covered her hand with her mouth and shook her head. It had all come clear to her. She pulled the photo closer to her face and brushed her cheek against it. "It's been so long." she whispered. Her eyes were closed pleasantly, and she didn't speak after that. An aura filled the air around her with that of a golden light.

Zachary held his little Brother in his strong arms. He patted his back, and rubbed circles around the higher part of his back. He held him there and let him hide his face in his chest. Zachary never did understand why boys were expected to show no emotion at all. He himself had been stared at with shameful looks when he had showed he was in pain, or emotionally hurt. He vowed to show Nathan, that no matter what happened, he would never judge him for being human. Instead of picking him up, he knew that Nathan couldn't be babied, it just wouldn't go with his personality.
Holly had done that, reverting her hard headed sisters into submissive cuddler's. Zachary had a different agenda. He knew that Nathan needed to feel in control, but needed a dose of being on a leash as well. So Zachary decided to keep him on a mental leash, making sure he was doing what was okay for a 13 year old boy to do. He gave him a few final pats, and stood up, helping him up as well. "I know you aren't ready for family like, a hundred percent of the time... Dad was just happy to see you. Right now your the youngest... Dad's name is Robert, you wanna try calling him that for now? and when your ready.. you can call him Dad or what ever." he smiled. "He loves you allot ya know, I don't even remember a whole lot from the old days, but he's only got 2 sons in a litter of Mommy's girls." he chuckled, and ruffled his hair.
Miranda smiled at Tiffany, and patted her leg. She wished Tiffany was a little girl again, so she could collect her in her arms, and just hold her. She knew that this would have to be a slow process. It killed her, but she came to terms with the fact that Tiffany was no longer 6 years old. Miranda's eyes shot open, so she was bug eyed. "Where's your glasses sweetie?" she asked, looking panicked.

Nathan lightly pushed the tears in his eyes back and smiled at Zachary. "Yeah, okay." he said. "I can do that. It's not hard." He ran a hand through his hair and then rubbed his eyes. He gave a loud sigh ad then looked to Zachary. "Okay. Let's go in. I need to apologize." He pulled his sleeves down to their original place, covering up his vicious scars. His face was a burning bright red as he thought of going back in the house, but he knew he had to face it sometime. Just like he'd have to face himself, and he knew that someday he'd have to face this adoptive father someday, too. He'd wait for that revenge and do it himself. He smiled to himself, thinking of that. Sometime. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not even the next day. Maybe not even the day after that. But one day, these scars underneath my skin will disappear. One day. Then you'll be much happier than you are right now. You'll be happy like you deserve to be. WORDS:206

Zachary smiled and began to walk back to the house, an arm hooked around his younger brothers neck. He knew that Nathan was a good kid, no matter how much he tried to fight it. The kid had a crappy childhood, and there are no crappy kids, just crappy parents as far as Zachary was concerned. Each sibling had been raised by different parents. Nathan and Tiffany where together, as were Holly and Margaret. Truthfully, Zachary and Gwen were the only two to be raised as only children. Zachary had been old enough at the time to know who Mom and Dad were, he was old enough to know that. Nathan had been been barely 3 at the time. He was to young, hell, that Adoptive Father could have changed his name and said the sky was green and Nathan would have had to believe him. Zachary soon reentered the room, Nathan still by his side.
