Okay I had to write two poems for English last year for a Poetry Anthology. And I thought that I should share them with you. XD Teachers really like my poems oddly enough.
Death with Soulless Eyes; Left with Hope of Returning
He’s dead...
That’s was all that went through my mind
I screamed and screamed as they stand there
Looking at me, with unblinking eyes
Eyes, they were empty of all emotion and life
They were spirits from beyond
Bounded to the Earth forever
With unbreakable bonds
I was surrounded by darkness and grief
Till the light released me, with relief
Old Friends Left Behind, A New Beginning
Abandoned..
The word repeated itself, as I watched them do what they did best
Walk away from me
Once again, I’ve been abandoned by my friends
But this time, it’s the last time.
We were no longer friends...
This was our last fight
Never to makeup and to start all over again
I’ve been surrounded by darkness for awhile
Not a single light to lead me home
No hope left for us
But there!
I see it
The first light I’ve seen in awhile,
A lamp post, that was lit
Underneath was the new girl, crying.
Looks like I have a new friend.
A week later...
We are the best of friends
Never to abandon each other,
Ever again.
