Life here will be a new beginning for me....a chance to make true friends.

December 1st, 2009
As I'm starting a new chapter in my life, I'm going to use this journal to collect my thoughts. I'm striving to write every night but, knowing me, I'll forget more than once in a while.
Today was my first day and I guess it went pretty smoothly....for me. I mean, I found my room eventually. I also found a lot of other rooms, including the janitor's closet, which I got locked in. I'm not really sure how I managed to pull that off but I did. Castle is ENORMOUS!!! I'm not really sure how I'm going to be able to find my classes and stuff, I'll ask for a map tomorrow. But seriously, I got lost in their garden, which harnests the most vivid roses I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I love big open spaces but getting lost is my specialty.
My room mates are Fivel and Samie. The most beautiful girls I've ever seen, like precious jems. Fivel has gorgeous short red hair, and she seems really sweet. I think I'm going to get along with her really well. Same with Samie, who is a very pretty brunette. Also, their songs are very unique. Fivel's song tells me that she's been through a lot, and that she's strong and independent. Samie's song is hard to describe, but it's sort of a bitersweet melody with a witty cadenza. Even though I just met them, something in my gut tells me that we will be sisters. Fate brought us together, I'm sure of it.
While I was lost and looking for my room, I met a guy named Seth in an open field. I was awe struck when I saw him because he is cute! But his song also left me awe struck. Sad, mournful, depressed, crushed, and disappointed; words that ran through my head as his song played. Calling for me, his melody reached out for me, begging to tell me it's story. Because the tune was so hypnotizingly desperate, I talked to him. I sat next to him, listening to his tale. His story was as poignant as his song promised. When he finished, I sang to him. There we were, strangers sharing true feelings. I mean, I dont think he would go around telling anyone about his tragic journey, as I wouldn't randomly sing for just anyone also. It was weird. Then, a guy named Abel came up, who had the same story as Seth. But the weird thing was, that Abel had died once. It makes me wonder about the people I will meet here and how this year is going to turn out. Hopefully we'll meet again, but it's pretty unlikely since thay are sophomores, and i'm a freshman.
Well that's all I really have to say today. It was long day, but I think I'm going to sneak a peak at the school now. The stars are out and my curiousity and instincts tell me that thie mansion has some secrets to discover. I'll find my way back to my room some how.
