Evan trudges into the Nurse's office, his cheeks still burning in humiliation. Around his hands traces of water weave around his skin as he clenches and unclenches his hands. That girl. He thinks, tortured by the road his mind is taking. What is he becoming because of her?
"Nurse Flock!" He yells, louder than he intended to. "Nurse Flock! I... I need your help." He lowers his head and stares at the floor, kind of ashamed about what he's going to say.

Flock spun around in her rolley chair. [OOC: LOL. Stein.] Her glasses were down her nose in a descansending position. "What is it? I'm very busy." she replied. She had planned to speak to Tyler about the current standings of the BlackBlood in the Havens students.

(Haha! Mist and I had an argument today about whether Stein was creepy or awesome and whether he deserved to have a girlfriend)
Evan bites his lip, wondering if he's really going to do this. Apparently he is. "I'm sorry to just barge in on you like this... But I need to make some kind of deal with you. I already know about all of the BlackBlood stuff. I want you to use it to kill Fivel." He blurts out, determined to get her to help him. For Kao's sake.

Flock stopped what she was doing, as her back was turned to the twin. She cocked a venomous smile and spinned around in her chair. "Kill Fivel Baptiste." she repeated. "Well, that would get me in an awful lot of trouble with your borther." She twirled her pen in her hand casually, but her mouth was icy with anger. How does he know? she spat in her head. Something must be up.

Evan snorts. "You're poisoning people and you're worried about one person? A person you've already poisoned?" Even though Kao would be dangerous if he got angry enough... if Flock killed Fivel the right way then how would Kao even find out? Besides, Evan is sure that he could restrain Kao in a fight, if he has to. Kao relies on movement to use his power and all Evan needs to do is look at the person he wants to attack. "If you kill her, I don't care how, then I'll do whatever you say. I'll be your pawn or anything else you need to be. I don't care about anything else."

Flock smiled. "Mm," she said. "Well isn't that nice?" She let out an amused laugh and raised an eyebrow. "Anything." she repeated. "Even giving yourself and your brother as bait?"

Evan opens his mouth, about to say yes. He closes it, pausing. Kao as bait? In a moment he decides that being bait would be better than where he currently is. "Anything."He promises, bowing his head and looking at the ground. "Anything you want."

Flocklaughed, her shoulders moving up and down as her laughs echoed around the small office. "Really." she said. "Well, if your intentions are true, meet me on the second alley with Kao. I'll take care of the rest."

With kao? So soon? Evan swallows, trying to recover his determination. "Okay. I'll find a way to bring him... Thank you, Nurse Flock."
-Skip To Alley-
"What are we doing here?" Kao asks, curious. "You've been gone all day. I missed you." Evan glances back at his brother with a small smile.
"I was practicing my gift, it goes better if no one's around. Sorry, I missed being with you too." Evan glances at the street signs and leads his twin down the second alley. "Can we stop here for a bit? My muscles still ache from so much practice."He searches the darkness for where Flock is.

At that exact moment, two bound shadows shot out at angles, both hitting the twins upside the head in spots that would most likely knock them out. Flock stepped out of the shadows and laughed. "For the record." she said, stepping on Evan to go towards the alleyway's opening. "This was part of the deal."

Fivel's phone rang in her room, and she answered it casually. "Hello?" she said.
"I have the Montiques."
The voice was deep on the other line, particularly venomous as well.
Fivel narrowed her eyes. "Where can I find you." she asked.
"The second alley's door number 6."
Fivel scowled. "I'll be there."

Fivel opened the door, only for her wrists to be grasped and for her to be pulled into the light. She grimmaced up at the focal point. "Flock." she said. "I should've known."
Flock smiled down at the girl. "Well. Aren't you an obeying child." she said. A light flipped up to show Evan and Kao in chains. Fivel fought against her bounds, shouting, "Evan! Kao!" |

Evan hits the floor like a bag of cement, cracking his already hurting head against the cement. "Ah, hell." He mumbles, spitting out some blood. His mind registers what Flock says and he closes his eyes and lets himself go completely silent.
Kao drops to the ground instantly, already blacked out. Fivel's voice drags him out of the darkness and he blinks awake. The pain in his head is almost enough to make him want to go back to sleep."Huh? Fivel?" He asks, looking around. "What the hell?" He wiggles around in his chains but can't use his powers without being able to move freely. "Fivel! Get away!" His eyes focus on Fivel and Flock and he realizes what's happening. Next to him Evan clenches his jaw, stony and silent.

Fivel swallowed and stared up at Kao. "Kao..." Her voice trailed off. Flock laughed echoingly. "How pitiful," she said. "You're all just mice in my trap." Fivel struggled against her bounds again. "You witch." she spat.
Lightning struck near Fivel's feet, and she pulled back, fear taking over her. Flock laughed. "That's better," she said. Her mouth pulled into a venomous smile. "Now are you ready to listen to me?"
Fivel shook in fear but nodded.

"Let her go! Let her go you -----!" Kao yells, struggling against his chains. "What do you want? Don't hurt her!" The chains chaff his skin where he doesn't have clothes in between but he keeps twisting around.
Evan tries to sit up in his chains but falls over on his side. He'd never imagined that Kao would be this attached to that girl. But seeing Flock scare her that badly... he bites his lip and tells himself that this was still the right thing to do.

Flock pointed a finger at Kao, the tip sparking with dark energy.
"DON'T!"
Fivel panted but shook her head, her sweat dripping down her face. "I'll listen to you." she said. "Just.. just don't hurt Evan or Kao."
Flock laughed. "Alright." she said. "You have to listen to me fully to understand what I am going to say."

Kao stares at Fivel and Flock in horror, realizing that he almost died. Does this mean she saved my life? He wonders. "Fivel, it's fine! Don't worry." He pants, beginning to loose oxygen.
