Tiffany sat amid all of the craziness. The students had been let out for the day, and everyone was in the garden, running, playing, laughing, singing- and who was reading in the middle of it all? Tiffany, of course. The inside of her was hoping, praying someone noticed her with her long, brown-streaked blonde hair slung over her face. But all of the boys were looking at her, in truth. However none of them mattered to her; there was one that always made her heart thump faster than a kill on a bounty mission..
Radu.
Tiffany shook her head and continued her book. It was good, but she kept getting distracted.
"Hey, Tiffany! Wanna play?"
"No."
"C'mon! Race me, killer girl!"
"No."

"Those dang kids. They just won't go away, huh?" Radu asked as he strolled up. It was a beautiful day out, and he figured he'd find Tiffany here. The garden was a nice atmosphere for reading, save for the students who were more interested in playing around. Radu sat down on the bench next to Tiffany and leaned over, looking into the open page of the book. "What are you reading?" he asked curiously. He hadn't really bothered to catch a glimpse of the front cover. |

Tiffany blushed and turned the page. "Yeah. They're still hung over the fact that I kill people for a living." she said. "Or I did." She lifted the book's cover to show him; Mabslander.

"They're just full of themselves," Radu replied, nodding when he'd read the title on the cover page. "I wouldn't worry too much about them." He happened to look up in time to catch Tiffany blushing, and smiled. Leaning a little closer, he placed a soft, gentle kiss against her warm, salmon-pink cheek. "Let me know if I'm being too distracting," Radu added playfully. He reached out with his hand and moved a strand of her hair out of her face. |

Tiffany's eyes widened, her blush deepening. "Do you enjoy distracting me?" she asked, laughing a bit. At this, her whole face, down her neck, was red with blush. She scorned herself silently. How did it come to this? You're just like all the other silly girls.

Radu pouted. "I can stop," he said, pretending to be sullen. It didn't work though, because he broke out in a grin again. Tiffany's laugh was contagious and it was difficult to keep a straight face. "How's your day been going?" Radu asked casually. He wanted to know the highlights of her day. |

Tiffany laughed. "It was boring." she said. Her face brightened up. "Oh. In literature, we discussed To Kill A Mockingbird. That was fun." Her eyes were bright blue ovals as she explained the plot.

"That's a good book," Radu commented, and became silent as Tiffany described the plot. When she was done, he nodded. "Yeah. The ending was alright I guess. Who was your favorite character?" |

Tiffany smiled and nodded. "Uh-huh." she said. Her blush finally faded as she flipped the page again.

Radu became silent as Tiffany went back to reading. He slouched a bit, leaning back and casually crossing his legs. After glancing around, Radu half-closed his eyes, listening to Tiffany's steady breathing and the sounds of the garden: the other students playing, a occasional bird chirping, the wind in the trees. Relaxing. |

Tiffany sighed happily and drew in another breath, her lips making a perfect 'O'. She was heavily distracted by the book and hardly noticed Radu there.

"Hm," Radu mused quietly. It looked like Tiffany was in the mood for reading, and probably wouldn't stop until she finished the book. He sat up straight and stretched. "Well, if you're busy, I can come back later." |

Tiffany acted on impulse. "No, wait." She said, reaching out and grabbing his hand. She blushed. "Erm... I mean.." She put away the book. "I can do something else with you, if you want." She stumbled over her words. "I-if yo-you want, that is."
