Holly was a little awkward in such a big room. She was dressed in her uniform and was standing awkwardly at the entrance. Margaret stood beside her in the boys uniform since she couldn't stand the thought of wearing a skirt. Amanda was standing on the other side of Holly, and was tugging at her, wanting to go on in. Holly sighed and went in. She thought about were Emily was, and figured she was probably with Alucard. She walked in and sat down, not really havening an apatite.

Radu was sitting next to Alucard at one of the tables, a look of concern on his face. His brother had not once touched his full plate of food, and he had his head down on the table. "Alucard, please eat something," Radu urged, "You haven't eaten anything since we arrived from the Havens." Alucard didn't reply; he just pushed his plate farther away. Radu sighed. |

Emily walked into the room shortly after, as she had been busy mapping out her new surroundings, She too was dressed in the school uniform, and she skipped over to Alucard, and snuggled her torso over his lap, so she was laying over it with her little feet barely off the ground.

Alucard ignored Emily when she climbed into his lap, staring blankly at the table. "Emily, why don't you sit on my lap?" Radu suggested. "Alu's not feeling well." |

Emily pouted, and squirmed off Alucard's lap She stood beside him, tilted her head slightly. She soon gave up, and climbed up into Radu's lap. Holly saw Emily and got up, knowing that those 2 probably didn't want to babysit right this minuet. She sat down across the table from Radu, and Margaret and Amanda soon followed. Amanda went and sat next to Alucard, patting his shoulder.

"See? We have company now," Radu said, glancing up as Holly, Margaret, and Amanda sat down with them. Alucard blinked, looking at the faces of the newcomers, then went back to staring at the table. Radu looked at Holly and Margaret, who sat across from him. "I've tried everything." |

Holly and Margaret nodded. Amanda looked up at Alucard, and nudged his shoulder with her head a few times.

Alucard groaned, and relented to Amanda's persistence. He sat up slightly and wrapped an arm around her shoulders while Radu watched on, occasionally eating a few bites of his food. |

Amanda smiled slightly, and sat closer to him so the side of her legs touched his. She laid her head against his arm. She felt his pain, well, as much as she could at least. She hadn't known Raven like he'd known her, and she didn't dare say she knew how he felt. She had lost her fair share of people, but, she hadn't lost her, Alucard had lost Raven, and it'd be like insulting to him to say everyone missed her. Amanda looked up at him, still holding her self close to him. "She's still hear." Amanda whispered to him, and pointed her tiny pointer finger to his heart. "And she's got you there too."

"I.." Alucard replied, speaking for the first time that evening. He put a hand over his chest where Amanda was pointing. "Alu.." Radu said softly, letting his older brother lean on his shoulder. He looked like he was on the verge of tears again. Alucard pulled Amanda with him into the group hug. |

Amanda willingly let her self be pulled into the hug, and she snuggled her self close to Alucard and Radu "At least..." Amanda began. choosing her words carefully. "At least you have us.."

"We love you too." Amanda smiled, and sat in his lap, squirming a bit to get comfortable. "And we want you to be happy, just like Raven did."

I wish I could be happy, Alucard thinks. But now was the time for grieving. For that moment, he was just content to be surrounded by his little family. Radu patted Alucard's shoulder. "Its alright. We're going to get through this." |
